Serving as a birth, and postpartum doula and birth educator for the past few years, I have strived to continually gain knowledge and build a robust toolkit to best support the families I partner alongside. Moving into the formal training and certification for the Gentle Sleep Coach/Consultant seemed like the next logical step to be able to surround families with thoughtful and personalized care.
Rest easy knowing your baby is cared for.
My expectations for every family I partner with, is to successfully shape and guide your newborn and infant to minimize the need for sleep training, cry-it-out methods, and unrestful sleep patterns by working with me from day one.
At this age and in this environment, amazing sleep habits can be established very quickly with loads of consistency and tons of love involved! We will work closely with your family to develop a sleep plan that is right for your child, and help you help your little one to be sleeping through the night and taking proper naps within our six weeks together!
*To achieve a long term benefit of successfully coaching your baby to sleep through the night and assure optimal recovery & bonding, I suggest overnight support be at least 6-8 weeks.
My recommended schedule is:
Week 1 & 2: 5-7 shifts
Week 3 & 4: 4-6 shifts
Weeks 5 & 6: 3-4 shifts
Weeks 7+: 1-4 shifts
Majority of clients in the past have usually requested 8 hour shifts (10pm-6am).
Although this is the recommended shift length, this is not required and can be flexible based on families needs. Shifts can start as early as 8:30pm and end as late as 7:30am.
Although this schedule is recommended to achieve certain goals, it is only a suggestion and I am happy to accommodate any desired schedule.
Whether your looking for one night off, or a 15 week newborn sleep support package, I can provide the support, care, compassion, and soothing skills for your little one to thrive and grow to their fullest potential.
As a Doula, Gentle Sleep Coach, & Newborn Care Specialist, I've incorporated all of my specialties to offer ONE support package, combining all practices, resources, and education to work collectively to achieve the same goal.
